We ship live fish to Canada, USA, and Puerto Rico only. If you are looking to purchase fish food, decorations, etc and are located outside of these countries, please contact us for a shipping quote.

How fish are packed and shipped?
Our fish are packed safely insulated boxes and are double bagged. Once they are shipped out, they arrive in 1-2 days.
*Note: We include heat packs during the winter at no additional costs.*
We do not mark the box as live fish or fragile because that causes delays due to past experiences. Also, when the postal workers see ''fragile'' they like to throw it around more. When they don't know what's in the box, it gets shipped just like any other package and arrives much quicker.

We are an online only store and ship from Ontario, Canada.
When will my pre-order arrive?

WHAT IS A ''PRE-ORDER'' FISH?
A pre-order fish means that we only get the fish ordered to us if a customer orders it. By accepting pre-orders, we can offer our customers more variety of fish to choose from. The fish come from Indonesia. This means that there is a wait time to receive your fish as we receive our shipment of pre-orders once a month. For a pre-order estimated arrival date, please see the question above.
Will i get the fish in the picture?
Yes. If the fish has a number in the title (example, Koi Halfmoon #10), then you will be receiving the exact fish that is numbered.
If there is no number in the picture, then that means we have multiples of that fish and they all look the same.
Please keep in mind that when your fish arrives, it may look very pale and the colours may look different too. This is caused from the stress of shipping. After a few days to a week, the colours will become normal again once the fish has had a chance to settle into it's new home.
Also, all bettas usually change colours.
The pictures we had taken a few weeks before, may not look exactly like the fish you receive as they change colour.
Especially marbled and koi pattern fish, they always change colour eventually.

If you order a ''ready-to-ship'' fish and a ''pre-order fish'' in the same order, we will ship them together once the shipment of pre-orders arrives.
If you want to order both a ''ready-to-ship'' fish and a ''pre-order'' fish but want the ''ready-to-ship'' fish right away, please place two separate orders.

WILL I RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY ORDER?
Yes. If a tracking number is available, it will be sent to you once your order ships.
However, many e-mail providers filter out some emails and mark them as spam and are not sent to your inbox.

You can get a shipping quote by entering your city and postal code after you have added your items to the cart.
The following are estimates for each province: (Please note this is for up to 10 fish in the same box. Any additional fish after 10+ will increase shipping costs by few dollars.)

i've placed an order but I want to add more fish/items to the order
If you have already placed an order and want to add more to it, you can go ahead and place the order like you normally would. After the 2nd order has been placed, please send us an e-mail providing us with your order number and we will send you a refund for the shipping costs on the 2nd order.
Will my fish be delivered to my front door?
Yes, your order will be delivered to the address you provide us with. You do not need to pickup anywhere, unless you are not home to receive your package. If you are not home, your package will be waiting for you at the nearest post office.
